The Complete Pre-wired Electrical Whip is attached to your Shipped System . We are using a Center Off, Up/Down On, Momentary Toggle Switch with Standard 1/2 inch mounting hole. Switch comes with Rubber Boot. Only a +12VDC (Red Lead) and Ground wire (Black Lead) are needed to power system (1/4 Amp). Drill a 1/2 inch Hole in a Switch Location selected by user.
A 1/4 inch hole Must be drilled on-center between the Pre-Drilled Factory Dash Holes for Motor Pigtail to travel thru dash.
Once Center Support is Fastened to Dash the Motor Leads attach to the 2 WAGO wire connectors Center Pole. If the Up is not Up after applying Power simply turn the Switch Over, easy! No need for a Power Relay, Motor Draws less than 1/4 Amp.
**The Actuator has Built-In stops and automatically stops travel in that direction**

The Dash Arm Plates (gasketed) are easy to install! Open Slingshot Hood & Remove Factory Torx-head Fasteners which hold dash front to Frame. Slide the goose-neck tab end of Plate into and Under the Dash plastic by pulling upwards on Dash at mount. The Front Grip should be noted and popped down over leading edge of dash while inserting Tab. Align the oversized Plate Hole with the Factory tapped hole an re-insert the Factory Bolt.
Tighten with wrench.
Lay the Windshield Blade onto the 2 1/4-20 studs of PARTIALLY RAISED Center Support after removing the Acorn Nut and ONE of the washers. Place the Remaining Washer on Top of Blade then Apply Acorn Nut. Hand Tighten!
Lift Swivel Arms against Spring Tension and push end of 3/8-16 stud thru the Blade after Removing Acorn Nut and Top Washer/Rubber Washer combo. Once Stud is Thru the Blade apply the Remaining Rubber Washer followed by the Steel Washer and finally Acorn Nut. Hand tighten Acorn and then 1/2 Turn with 9/16 wrench Behind Blade at Jam Nut. You Should Not be able to Un-Do Acorn by hand afterwards.
Run the Blade Down with Switch until gasket just touches Dash...STOP...and then Tighten the 1/4 inch Acorns of Center Support with Wrench against the Blade. Easy...the Acorn IS Nylon!

The Gasket we Use for Blade is Pictured.
It is available on Amazon. Cut 26.5 inches with Scissors or Razor. Remove Blade from Slingshot and Lay on bench upside down. Start at one end and Carefully apply new gasket on center of blade edge being careful Not to stretch gasket. Make sure to Bunch the Gasket into Interior corners. There should be less than 1/4 inch to trim when complete. Re-install blade and enjoy a year or two.
